Despite the scare of rain, Mike and Heidi's wedding was amazing! They partied it up with 50 guests at Hoku Lani in Makena on their wedding night. Their rehearsal dinner was also a big hit at the Grand Wailea's Humu Restaurant the evening before! A special thanks to everyone who helped make this event so fabulous: Pacific Event Group (amazing silk linens, glamorous lounge furniture, gorgeous chragers), Island Rents (spectacular lighting), Cater 2 U (yummy foods and drinks), Michael Andrews (amazing photography), Bella Bloom (breathtaking florals), and everyone else- the list goes on and on and on......... Congrats to the happy couple! Off to Lanai they go for their honeymoon. MMmmmmmm- the Four Seasons- I am jealous!
Last weekend was a first for me (it reminded me of Ian Ziering and Linsay Price's wedding on 90210 from waaaayyyy back in the day)- a surprise wedding! Joanne and Dutch surprised all of their guests at an intimate wedding (all the guests thought it was their daughter's reconciliation dinner) at a lush private Taro Farm in Wailuku. Most of the guests figured it out when they saw the officiant and the decor, the brides parents, however, were very surprised when they heard, during the opening prayer, "we are gathered here today to join this man and woman....". This is a wedding I will remember forever!
A special welcome to the newest addition to Couture Events (the future CEO in about 25 years when her mama retires), baby Madison! Madison was welcomed into the world on June 10, 2009 at 7:44AM. Her first photo shoot was done by Matt of Beloved Weddings when she was 6 days old! Isn't she a doll! A special thanks to Matt for being sooooo patient during her little tantrums! Oh she is a diva!
