Heather's Baby Shower was a hit! A couple of my girl friends and I hosted a baby shower for our good friend Heather last weekend at a private clubhouse in Kaanapali. The views were amazing, decor was fabulous and the food was out of this world! Rubber Duckies were the theme (thanks to Beth Goldsmith- her awesome idea). Everything Rubber Duckie from the ducks in the wine glasses (floating in pink lemonade, of course) to duck bath confetti and little duckies in cylinders with floating glass bubbles! How cute! The food was out of this world good, of course, thanks to Cater 2 U (Mark Shrimer and Kitty Cross are so so so good). We dined on: Fruit & Cheese Display (featuring fresh breads, crackers & condiments), Papaya & Avocado Summer Rolls w/Citrus Sake Soy Sauce, Yogurt/Fruit/Nut Parfait Served in Martini Glasses, Individual Spinach & Pancetta Quiche w/Hollandaise Sauce, Kula Greens w/Roma Tomatoes & Papaya Seed Dressing and Truffle Infused Mac & Cheese (Heather's #1 craving). Beth made yummy vanilla cupcakes with a buttercream frosting to satisfy Heather's sweet tooth!
