I must give credit for this fabulous idea to my oh so crafty sister-in-law! Champagne bottles covered in gold glitter? Yes, please! It turns a standard champagne into anything but standard! I created these for my daughter, Madison's, 4th birthday celebration this week. Juice boxes and champagne make any event FABULOUS!

Romantic Kapalua Wedding + Reception
From the Badgley Mischka shoes to the Merriman's sit down dinner- I was so excited to work with this bride (and groom)- the girl has STYLE + GREAT taste! Kapalua Bay was the backdrop to their intimate wedding ceremony with the smell of tuberose in the air- E KOMO MAI ("Welcome" to Maui)! Here are a few words to paint the picture: limo, turberose leis, ukulele, butterflies, hula, award winning food + luscious libations! As always, Merriman's delivered SCRUMPTIOUS food + drinks and FIVE STAR service late into the night! Congrats to Susanna and Saeid!

A Royal Tea Party
When my daughter's best friend, Reese, flew to Maui for her 4th birthday (with a broken leg, poor thing) I knew I had to help whip together a party for her and all of her little friends! What can you do with a broken leg in Maui? Have a princess tea party, of course! Reese and her friends enjoyed two, two-tier platters of miniature desserts from Whole Foods, tea sandwiches, crudites and of course, tea (pink lemonade). No princess tea party is complete without jewelry making, makeovers, mani/pedis and of course, a pinata...... and champagne for the chaperons!!! Happy 4th Birthday Reese!

The talented Stephanie Sheveland!
One of my all time favorite photographers is Stephanie Sheveland! I think I can speak for a lot of coordinators in Maui when I say we were all very sad when she decided to uproot to San Diego (but are also happy to be graced with her presence from time to time! Hint hint- she will do the occasional wedding in Maui to get her "Maui fix".) She has been photographing my family since my daughter's first birthday and hopefully will continue for years to come. If you are looking for an amazing photographer in the San Diego area check out her site: www.stephaniesheveland.com

Backyard Maui Wedding Featured on Style Me Pretty
When I was approached to do another surprise wedding I was ecstatic.... and to have such a fun and fabulous couple was the icing on the cake! Michelle Efros and Ian Hollingsworth (rocking drummer for the Throwdowns and the Ryan Robinson Band) were soooo much fun to work with and I just love their style! Their daughter, Goldie, was going to be turning 1 and in Hawaii, turning 1 is a BIG DEAL! Guests were flying in from across the country for her big event so they thought, why not surprise everyone and get married at the same time? A very nice dinner party was planned in the backyard of their beautiful home in Launiupoko. Panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and a lush waterfall were the backdrop to their surprise wedding. Ian, also owner of Image-it-Builders, custom built the rustic wooden farm tables and benches for guests to dine on during the week and Pacific Event Group supplied a cozy lounge area and a lot of pink elements (Michelle's favorite color... and mine too!) along with A LOT of pink lighting from Pacific Isle Rentals and, of course, Tuscan style globe lights. Bella Grace did an amazing job on the florals which were used the next day for Goldie's "Real" Birthday Event (the next day was a "lil monster theme" party so of course we had to add googley eyes to the Gerber Daisies.... check back later for pics). The legendary, Howard Ahia, mesmerized the guests with his talent in music while guests enjoyed a filet mignon dinner prepared by Cater 2 U. Guests were in complete shock when Michelle started walking "down the aisle" in her beautiful bridal gown! It was one of the most emotional weddings I have coordinated and, thank God, Hawaii Video Memories was there to capture it along with the talented Wendy Laurel! Fun fun fun! Congrats Michelle and Ian!

When Casey contacted me via Facebook to find a wedding coordinator in Maui we were both pleasantly surprised! I, because, she was coming to Maui for her wedding and she, because, I am a wedding coordinator in Maui! Casey and I grew up together (from the young age of 6!) and hadn't seen each other since high school! My, how life has changed, for both of us! :) Congrats Casey and Bill! Thank you for letting me be part of your special day! Enjoy the honeymoon!
